A Desperate Mommy's Prayer

Dear Father God,
I come to you with thanksgiving for the many children you have blessed me with. You have entrusted them into my care and for that I am thankful.

I pray for you to give me peace, to give me an understanding on how best to deal with whatever comes my way. I know that I will never be perfect. I just want to be able to enjoy my children and train them to be kind, loving, responsible people who know to look to you for guidance.

I praise your holy name. Thank you for helping me realize that I cannot do it alone and that I must look to you for help. Thank you for never leaving me.
